Privacy Policy
How RedMantu collects, uses, and protects your information.

This policy explains what RedMantu collects, why, and how it's handled.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, business name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash — we never see or store it in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from your Google account instead.
- Project configuration: the keywords, subreddits, and target locations you set up to define what counts as a relevant lead for your business.
- Communications: anything you send us directly, e.g. a support request.
- Billing information: handled by our payment processor; we retain billing history but not full card numbers.
- Basic usage data: things like when you last used the product, kept to help us run the Service reliably — not sold or shared.
2. How We Get Reddit Data
RedMantu only ever reads content Reddit already makes public. Two things happen behind the scenes:
- Subreddit discovery: when you're picking subreddits, we look at each subreddit's public information page to check things like size and activity.
- Post monitoring: once you've picked your subreddits, we watch each one's public post feed for new activity to check against your keywords.
We never access, request, or store your personal Reddit login, and we never take any action on Reddit — no posting, commenting, messaging, or voting — on your behalf.
3. How We Use Information
- To run your account and get matched leads to you by email, Telegram, or webhook;
- To score and rank matched posts using an AI model, so you see the most relevant leads first;
- To suggest keywords and subreddits for your project when you ask us to (drawing on your website and public search data);
- To bill you and respond when you contact support;
- To keep the Service secure and working — e.g., rate-limiting abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who We Share Data With
RedMantu uses outside providers to run parts of the Service. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

We don't let any of them use your data for their own advertising.
5. Webhooks (Growth & Scale plans)
If you turn on webhook delivery, matched lead data — including the public Reddit post content that made it a match — is sent to a URL you provide. That endpoint is yours to secure; RedMantu isn't responsible for what happens to data after it reaches a destination you configured. You can disable this at any time from your project settings.
6. Cookies
- Essential (always on): one cookie to keep you signed in, and — if you check “remember me” — one that keeps you signed in for up to a year. The Service can't function without these, so they don't require consent.
- Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which help us understand where visitors come from (e.g. country, device) and how they use the site, including Clarity's session recordings and heatmaps. These stay off until you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you click “Reject” instead, a small “Cookie Settings” button stays in the corner of the site so you can turn analytics on later. Your choice is stored in your browser, not tied to your account; if you've accepted and want to withdraw, clear your browser's site data for redmantu.com or email [email protected] and we'll do it for you.
We don't use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics data is processed by Google and Microsoft under their own data processing terms, which may involve transferring it outside your country.
7. Data Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Leads that clear your project's relevance threshold are kept as a permanent record of what was surfaced to you, even after the underlying Reddit post is deleted or edited, since that's the point of the record. You can request full account deletion at any time.
8. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and you can opt out of the Telegram or email digest independently of deleting your account. Email [email protected] to make a request.
9. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, signed session cookies, and rate limiting on sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat this seriously and patch known issues promptly.
10. Children's Privacy
RedMantu is a business tool and isn't directed at, or knowingly used by, anyone under 18.
11. Changes to This Policy
We'll post updates here with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated more directly, e.g. by email.
